  i guess you can be physically out, like in a huge way, but definitely mentally in.. serena williams claims she won't be celebrating her daughter's first birthday.. i did know people like that, raised as a jw but never actually baptizing.

  that didn't mean they were not messed up in the head though..

  Are Jehovahs Witnesses false prophets

  i thought this was a very interesting argument by robert king.

  i liked the point he made about if israel had a prophet who spoke in the name of jehovah and it did not occur did this mean that the nation of israel was a false prophet or more so if the nation of israel sincerely believed it.

  the answer to that is a resounding no because the nation of israel was god’s appointed nation.

  About Robert King

  Robert King was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1977. He has served as an elder and regular pioneer in several congregations in Texas, California and Washington state. In 1996 he experienced what Jehovah's Witnesses refer to as an anointing by holy spirit, which was manifested in a complete immersion into an intense study of the Hebrew prophets. In 2002 Robert began publishing essays on a blog, as articles began to accumulate it was suggested to him to write a book. The first edition of Jehovah Himself Has Become King was published in 2005, which coincided with him being disfellowshipped for making this information available.

  My thoughts on Robert King: Robert King is just another religious nut who thinks of himself too much. Just by his proclaiming he was anointed by the holy spirit, he proves he's just another wack job. He is no different than the ''faithful and discreet slave.''

They believe that Satan is the ruler of the current world order, that human society is influenced and misled by Satan and his demons, and that they are a cause of human suffering. They also believe that human governments are controlled by Satan but that he does not directly control each human ruler.

  Satan never made any sense to me! Here is one lone angel who becomes just as powerful as God. He has other angels follow him. He has Adam and Eve disobey God. Satan challenges God that Job only follows him because of all the benefits and wealth that are bestowed upon him. God lets Satan strike Job with a disease, the death of his livestock and family, and loss of his wealth. Satan is able to tempt Jesus, rules and influences the current World, controls human governments, and will control the ''new system'' for 1000 years.

  How can one lonely angel be this powerful? How does he control humans and human governments? Why is Satan even allowed to live through Armageddon ( while all humans who didn't obey God be wiped out) and tempt all survivors and newly resurrected?

  Maybe Satan is just an imagination from some very good storytellers!

  used for explaining that you have to listen to elders even when they are totaly wrong?.

  So. the wacko local elders decide to paint the Kingdom Hall...... and ( with their great wisdom) come to a conclusion that it is easier for every member in the congregation help paint the whole building with a 2'' brush rather than a roller, sprayer, give the job to a painting contractor, or even let the job wait for another time.

  The 2'' painting brush solution would cost more, take more time, and have lots of confusion. But, no input is taken into consideration because the elders ''said so.'' You can't divide the congregation into ''different camps.'' Leave your brain at the entrance door.

  What's the whole point of the illustration?..... To be ''submissive'' and ''be obedient'' to the WTBTS and the local elders, no matter if they're wrong about the direction they are leading the congregation members!

  A youtube video shows a young Witness boy ( 7-9 years old ) giving a ministry school talk...facing the congregation and reading some Bible scriptures.

  Another youtube video shows two female Witnesses reading some Bible scriptures...they are not facing the congregation. They are facing each other.

  If an elder reads some Bible scriptures from the podium, he is teaching. What is this young Witness boy and two female Witnesses doing? If the female Witnesses are not teaching, what are they doing? Why are they even allowed on stage if 1 Timothy 2:11-15( keep in silence) applies to them?

  This teaching always boggled my mind!

  There were 2 sisters who got up and had a dramatization about a sister not wanting to go to College. I will paraphrase as best as I can.

  High School Counselor: ''Have a seat Karen and I will show you all the College applications I have for you.''

  Sister: ''Thank you for all the work you have done.''

  Counselor: '' I have an application from Harvard,one from Michigan University,and a couple from the East Coast.''

  Sister: '' I have done alot of thinking and decided not to go to any College."

  Counselor: ''Karen,you have a 4.0 grade average and scored very high on the A.C.T. and you would have no problem getting into any of these schools."

  Sister: '' As you know,I'm a Jehovah's Witness and we believe that we are near the ''end times.'' I decided that I will go into the preaching work part time and maybe go to a 2 year school."

  Counselor: ''You will probably get into these schools at almost no cost because of your 4.0 average and high A.C.T. scores and have a good career the rest of your life.These are great schools and will prepare you to land a good job.''

  Sister: ''This world is passing by and may not be here any longer. I decided to enter the ministry work and Jehovah God will provide for me in the future."

  Everyone applauded except me. That was really sad to see!

  Wannaexit : Hope you and your family are doing well!

  The last assembly I attended was about 8 years ago. My female cousin had a part with another sister on the dangers of higher education. Hearing this made me think on what I heard on the podium and what I wrote on here:
